Is it Real?

I once asked a woman who was speaking to me about her boyfriend of a few years if they were going to get married. She looked at me almost with a blank stare and said "i'm not sure". Surprised herself at her own answer, I asked her "why do you say that?" She mentioned a few reason's but mainly she told me it was hard to tell because of the way their relationship was. They argued a lot and made up a lot. It was a cycle though, the same things over and over. She admitted that she has problems she needed to work on herself, but that he had problems too. I asked her if at any point in the relationship she believed they were going to get married... she told me in the beginning and randomly throughout the relationship they would have their moments where she truly believed with out a doubt he was the man she would marry. But then there was times when she felt she didn't know how much longer she could stay with him... I told her she sounded really confused. I was one to always believe that when you knew you were going to marry someone... you "KNEW" it, no matter how ruff it got, or how bad it could get, you knew that you two would get through it because you were meant for each other... to have so much doubt isn't good. It should tell you something.... She told me it was hard because she loved him sooo much and they've been with eachother for a while it would be hard to let go. Those are all the wrong reasons sweetie, you see any two people can hang out constantly lets say for 3 months and to walk away from eachother cold turkey would be extremely hard because you get used to them being there, it doesn't mean you were meant to be together... it just means you got attached, which is natural. Just the same, I believe if a man and woman had intentions of being with eachother but weren't really in love yet, the more they stayed together they would learn to love eachother. You have to decide whether you want to be with someone that you learned to love, or you actually fell in love with... I personally like the fairy tale of falling in love. Some believe all that mumbo jumbo of knowing "they were the one" or "swept me off my feet" isn't real, I feel bad for those people that think that way, I really do... its because of those thoughts that you will never get to experience that feeling of true love... Unless you take a chance and put yourself on that limb, that's what love is, a ride, it can be scary at times yes, and it isn't always going to be peaches and cream, but for the most part its worth wild. I ask you, the person you're with, whether it's a new relationship or old, do you see yourself marrying this person? I'm not saying tomorrow or next year, just in general, could you deal with all their imperfections for the rest of your life? If you don't think so, why waist their time or yours (unless you've both agreed this is just "for now") I believe you truly deep down know what the possible outcomes could be, some people are just afraid to admit it. In fear of being alone or hurting someone they truly care about. What you see is what you get, yes people can make improvements (no one is perfect) but don't ever start to date someone with hopes to change them... it's not going to happen, they were that way long before they met you, and they will be that way long after you... Can you deal? Love is out there for everyone, you can't go on a mission to find it, it finds you. Good luck! and remember time is precious, it's one thing you can't get back, and you can't make it up... you have one moment, one second, one minute... don't waist your time or anyone else's.

ugh! well this weekend was really not my weekend on pics...

Falcons vs Panthers final score was 9-24 WOW!... well Delhomme and Smith got their groove back thats forsure...

Browns vs Bengals final score was 20-12 so Carson Palmer didn't have the bloody nose issue I thought he was going to have.. only because like an hour before the freaken game they announced he wouldn't be playing due to a sore elbow... A SORE ELBOW? are you serious... ugh

Broncos vs Chiefs final score was 19-33 come on... the Broncos had it... dang it if the game ended in the 3rd quarter we would have won haha

49ers vs Saints final score was 17-31 finally i was freaken right.. and imagine I had no logic for the score on this game, simply because I don't like the 49ers haha.. (sorry Saul)

Cardinals vs the Jets final score was 35-56 yup, Brett Farve sure did come in handy. He did his duty and his job

Packers vs Buccaneers final score was 21-30 the packers were doing so well but of coarse the Buccaneers dominated in the end.

Vikings vs. Titans final score was 17-30 yay the Vikings lost... (that's all I have to say about that haha)

Bills vs Rams final score was 31-14 .. is this a suprise.. I think not

Redskins vs Cowboys.. final score was 26-24 I was actually wrong in my pick but I don't freakin care.. i despise the Cowboys so this is the one time I was glad that I was wrong haha

Eagles vs the Bears final score was 20-24 well McNabb was sore from his "concused" haha (some reporter said that in the ESPN pregame news... and Larry and I were like "wtf" why couldn't she just say he was sore from his concusion? instead she said "since McNabb was concused".. haha just thought I'd share that with you

Texans vs Jaguars final score 27-30 I gues David garrard can talk the talk and walk the walk huh?

well that was my briefing... I wasn't accurate on my pics this week people.. in fact i got 5 out of 12.. damn... well at least I got my cable hooked up.. and you don't even want to know the ish I had to go thru for that... haha

Football Predictions

Okay, so we all know I rep the Raiders, just thought I'd give you some feed back on this weekend's game... I am very excited because my cable is finally gettin hooked up this weekend, so I should actually be able to watch some of the games woooo hoo!

Here we Go:

Falcons vs Panthers.... Ima have to go with the Falcons.. mind you both these teams are 2-1 I'm hoping that Michael Turner will actually come in handy this game and be the RB he is known to be. At the same time with the return of the Panthers duo I'm hoping that Delhomme and Smith don't get their "rhythm" back this game, (cause we know they didn't on their last game)

Browns vs Bengals... I will go with Bengals in honor of Bow Wow's battle against the Game.. haha also because even though they are both 0-3 Derek Anderson just isn't what he use to be.. I mean 2 scores and 5 interceptions with in the first 3 games... WOW! Lets just pray Carson Palmer doesn't get another Bloody nose.... it makes the Bengals look weak I think...

Broncos vs Chiefs ... Ima have to go with Broncos soley because thats what my boy represents =)

49ers vs Saints .... gonna have to go with the Saints because I despise the 49ers... haha

Cardinals vs the Jets... well besides my usual, Jets are my new 2nd fav team, Brett Farve is my man, and yes he did roll his ankle last game... it doesn't matter if it was in the 3rd quarter... he was injured damn it... let's just hope they don't get down on the score boards any more than by 14 points "sources" tell me that statistics show Brett can never bring his team back up once they are down by 14 points...

Packers vs Buccaneers, normally I would have to go with the bucks because I love Gruden ever since he coached the Raiders (why did he leave us???) but my boys second team is the Packers (he did that just to go against my Jets) .... so ima say.... Packers (boo)

Vikings vs Titans... ima go with Titans, dont know much of their stats, just know i don't like the vikings haha

Chargers vs Raiders... do I really need to answer that ????

Bills vs Rams.. do I REALLY need to answer that... haha do we really think Rams are gonna win a game, they are officialy voted the NFL's worst team this season... Bills all the way

Redskins vs Cowboys.... well lets see Cowboys are officialy voted NFL's best team of the season thust far.. and although I despise them just as well, everyone has jumped on the band wagon... and Tony Homo is offficially a jack a** in my book... but, I can't be stupid... so Cowboys..

Eagles vs the Bears .. well being that most of the Eagles key players are on the injured list (whats up with that?)... the bears just aren't my team... so McNabb is going to have to do his qb work and make me correct when I go for the Eagles... well they have one 5 of the Last 6 games they played against the bears anyway.. yah last game the Bears won.. but Ima go with the odds..

Texans vs Jaguars well we all know how Texans love to run the ball. So Jaguars just need to stop them haha simple huh? well David Garrard threw out some ish towards the Texans, so if he talks the talk he better be able to walk the walk right? Lets just hope Reggie Williams can get some better receiving yards.. most likely it'll be Marcedes Lewis or Mike Walker that'll be scoring touchdowns this game... so my pick is Jaguars...

WHEN LOVE REALLY CONQUORS ALL

It's funny going back to your teenage years, everyone has that one friend that always said they wouldn't fall in love... I wouldn't move in with my significant other, I'll never ditch my friends for my my g.f./b.f. .... then one day they meet that special someone and BOOM! they're moving in together, falling in love, and soon you don't hear from that friend as much any more... When love comes, it comes without warning, and it hits you hard. You do things you said you would never do. You sit there wondering, could it be that great that my friend who swore they'd never do any of these things, have to done them??? You want to be the one to go up to them and say "what the heck man, I thought you said this would never happen?" But some day you'll experience that kind of love that'll make you do things you yourself never thought you'd do. Let's just hope when that time comes, the other person in the realtionship is willing to do those crazy things too.....
